Most recently, Mike was co-founder and President of Cloud Parity Inc, and Brilliant Lime Inc, two affiliated stealth-mode startups based in Silicon Valley.
Previously, Mike was Senior Director of Mac Quality at Apple, Inc. where he lead the team responsible for integrated system level and software testing of all Apple’s Macintosh Division products.
Before joining Apple, he was Senior Technical Director of Engineering in the Office of the CTO at Broadcom responsible the company’s overall software strategy, as well as researching new potential software and service revenue opportunities.
Prior to his role in the Office of the CTO and Broadcom, Dove was Senior Director of Engineering for Broadcom’s Wireless LAN business, leading the team responsible for all wireless LAN software products, and responsibility for key customer accounts. Dove joined Broadcom in May 1999, following its acquisition of Epigram, Inc., where he was Senior Director of Engineering leading all software efforts.
From 1993 to 1998, he was one of the first employees and Vice President of Engineering of NeTpower, Inc., a Windows NT computer workstation and server manufacturer. Dove lead all software efforts, and was responsible for the strategic relationship with Microsoft. From 1992 to 1993, Dove was a Principal Engineer at MicroUnity, Inc., a stealth mode media processor company responsible for key simulation and validation software efforts. From 1987 to 1992, Dove was Engineering Lead at MIPS Computer Systems responsible for ARC based Windows NT software efforts, as well as developing a fully functional simulator for MIPS processors used in conduction with silicon validation efforts. From 1985 to 1987, Dove was Engineering Lead at Fortune Systems responsible for UNIX development efforts on the companies 68000 based workstations and servers. From 1979 to 1986, Dove worked on multiple astrophysical simulation projects at NASA/Ames Research Center in Mountain View, California. He currently holds 7 issues patents. He is founder and proprietor of Brilliant Lime Liquid Entertainment in Los Gatos, CA.
Dove received a B.A. in Computer Science from University of California at Santa Cruz in 1985. He also serves on the Baskin School of Engineering Alumni Advisor Council at UCSC. He and his family created the Dove Family Scholarship at University of California at Santa Cruz.
