Sky Bet needed a solution that would deliver real-time updates over the Web, as they happen, to large numbers of customers. It evaluated a number of vendor solutions including those that used polling techniques and others that had issues around scalability and manageability. After a comprehensive ‘proof-of-concept’, Sky Bet selected Kaazing based on its low latency, stateless architecture, wide browser support and its ability to expose a full duplex AMQP client over a variety of transports.

Trackmatic has recently launched its comprehensive route planning, execution and adherence system which allows fleets of any size to proactively manage the vehicles according to a predefined plan. An integral part of this solution is the integration of a mobile device (tablet) in each vehicle which displays delivery/collection information in real time to the driver relevant to the physical position of the vehicle at that time.
